Personal Description:
I offer Latin & Ancient Greek at all levels. I am an experienced teacher and have a lot of experience in preparing students for public exams in particular - GCSE, A Level & Common Entrance. I have been an examiner also for 15 years on various GCSE & A Level papers and so I have a good understanding of what is required to score well on each paper.
Teaching Experience:
I have taught for 17 years in Independent Secondary Schools and was a Head of Department for 13 years. I am now teaching at an independent prep school as Head of Department. I have been there for 4 years and am continuing to tutor students at all levels.
Tutoring Approach:
I am very keen in the first lesson to get a good idea of what the student is looking to achieve. I then make sure that our time is focused on what is needed and that the sessions both cover what is required and are good value. Since lockdown I have been doing many lessons online and am happy to conduct lessons online as well as in person.
