Personal Description:

My name is Celeste, I am a 24 year old full-time tutor based in Fulham (SW6). I graduated from Brunel University in 2017 with a first class hons BSc International Business and Economics. I am an experienced and successful tutor of students aged 11-21 in Maths, Business Studies and Economics.

Teaching Experience:

I have been tutoring for five years and have taught more than 100 students in Maths, Economics and Business Studies. I teach in person and online via Skype. I specialise in homeschooling for students who may need 1-to-1 attention in order to thrive, or where learning in a mainstream classroom just doesn't work for them. I have been with many of my students for multiple academic years due to building a trusting relationship with both students and parents, as well as seeing great results.

I have taught many students of all abilities and learning needs and am always able to adapt my teaching style to suit.

Tutoring Approach:

My approach to tutoring is to make learning fun! It can be really stressful when exams are looming, or if you just don't quite understand something, so it's important to work at a comfortable pace for the student and challenging them when possible.

I make my lessons engaging and relatable, always using real life examples to make the concept easier to digest. This will also help the student to build an understanding of how their classroom learning will be useful later on, outside of the classroom.

Students find me friendly, patient and approachable, which keeps them motivated to keep working and enjoying their subject.
