Personal Description:
I currently teach History and Modern Studies at an Edinburgh school and have multiple years experience as a private tutor. I am very well versed with the SQA qualifications and have worked as an SQA exam and assignment marker since 2015. This knowledge and skill set has proved invaluable in helping to prepare my previous tutees and students for their final exams. My students and tutees have regularly achieved top marks in all areas of their courses. I am friendly and confident in my approach.

Tutoring Approach:
In an initial meeting with my tutee, I will discuss areas of strengths and weakness in order to determine areas of focus for future sessions. I make frequent use of past paper questions and will regularly mark student work to help my tutee get to grips with their exam technique and assessments. I will also discuss study strategies for particular topics and assist students in creating essay plans to aid in the revision process.
