Personal Description:

I am a fully qualified teacher, passionate about maths and inspiring a generation to learn to love maths. I trained and qualified as a maths teacher but have currently put that on hold to work for the Department for Education. I have experience teaching KS3, GSCE and A Level across the full range of abilities. I have a passion for maths and a passion to see young people flourish. I`m a dedicated and engaging teacher who will give his all to see people flourish and come to enjoy and succeed in maths. I believe in the importance of the relationship between teacher and pupil and invest time in understanding how pupils learn. Particularly during this challenging time I want to support pupils to continue their learning online.

Teaching Experience:

I previously taught maths at a school in Lancashire, and have 8 years tutoring experience. I have experience teaching A Level but only Core 1, Core 2 and Stats 1. I now work for the Department for Education supporting headteachers.

Tutoring Approach:

I have a passion for maths and a passion to see young people flourish. I'm a dedicated and engaging teacher who will give his all to see people flourish and come to enjoy and succeed in maths. I believe in the importance of the relationship between teacher and pupil which is why I offer the first lesson for free; if you don't feel like I am right then there is nothing lost.
