Personal Description:

I am a motivated teacher and believe that I have a significant role to play in helping students to develop their language knowledge and skills as well as self-understanding, self-esteem and self-reliance that will help them become keen and effective learners.
At the core of my teaching philosophy is an enthusiasm for exposing students to experiences and tools that allow them to test their understanding of information, ideas and concepts, strengthen existing capabilities and encourage new ones to emerge.



Teaching Experience:

I have taught English for over 7 years (private schools and university) at various levels in different countries such as China, Poland, Germany and currently England where majority of my students come from countries such as Lybia, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait , Ittaly, Spain,France, and other European countries. The courses included general English and English for Academic Purposes as well as exam focussed courses such as IELTS and Cambridge KET, PET, FCE, CAE.



Tutoring Approach:

Every student has different language needs and preferred ways of learning, therefore every lesson will be planned to fulfil the student's learning needs.

Qualifications:

  • MA in TESOL with Applied Linguistics
  • BA with honours in TESOL and Modern Languages (Spanish)
  • TRINITY CertTESOL Level 5 Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of other Languages
