Richard - Omagh tutor
Information About Richard:
Personal Description:
I have over a decade of teaching and tutoring experience, I like to keep things positive, upbeat, friendly and fun whenever possible and am currently working for South West College in Omagh and Enniskillen. I enjoy sport, reading and music, I play a bit of guitar and love to cycle, so much so, I might even turn up to our session on my bike!
Teaching Experience:
Since January 2017 I have worked at South West College teaching GCSE and Foundation Degree level Maths. Prior to that I taught Maths at Leeds City College for 10 years, receiving consistently good annual lesson observation results. I delivered classes at all levels from Entry 1 to Level 2 Functional Skills Numeracy and Foundation and Higher Level GCSE. Alongside this, I enjoyed tutoring many students at KS2, KS3, GCSE and A Level. I also worked with learners looking to improve their Maths for related areas of study such as Engineering and Accountancy.
Tutoring Approach:
The most important aspect of a tutoring relationship is communication. The freedom to ask questions, seek clarification and repeat examples and exercises until a topic or concept is fully consolidated is the primary benefit of a private tutoring arrangement. I am flexible to the needs of my students and enjoy the challenge of finding solutions to learners' problems.
