I work with client's of all ages who are going back to work after a break, and with client's looking to start up their own business.
I help people who are looking at making a major career change, whether from choice or necessity.
It will not happen overnight. It takes hard work, planning and the help of a great coach. But don't ever think it can't be done. It can. And YOU can do it!
Most career coaches assume that you either have work experience, or that you have just left full time education. The special challenges faced by people dealing with workplace re-entry are unique. I understand these challenges as well as understanding the emotional state that often accompanies going back to work, whether it is a free choice or due to financial circumstances
Returning to work is often coupled with other situations, such as becoming single again, having lost previous income due to redundancy or illness - either yours or your partners. It's not just a simple matter of "finding a job" - but it's very possible, and I can help you through it.
Because of government changes in the retirement age more and more people who are past the "official" retirement age, are working, either because they want to or by necessity. It's a much different scenario for them than it is for younger job seekers. Often the more mature employees have much more to offer, but find they are valued less. However, there are ways to demonstrate your value, positions that are best suited to the more mature employees.

If you are about to return to work, this coaching program is designed specifically with you in mind. It is a step by step coaching program to establish your work and life skills, experience, core values, interests, personality (using DISC profiling) and abilities and to find their place in the world of work, whether it be employment or self-employment. It takes into account self-esteem issues, confidence issues, values and beliefs, skills gained through "non-workplace" endeavours, and family issues.

Teaching Experience:
My own career history has been quite varied; I'm ex-military, been unemployed, worked in small businesses and the corporate environment, and since 1986 I have been self-employed. I know how it feels to make big changes in your career because I've "been there, done that and bought the T-Shirt". I also know that if you are determined and set yourself goals, you can successfully follow your dream and find work that is truly satisfying, at the same time as bringing in the income and living the life style that you want.
