Currently I am based in Tokyo and accept requests for online lessons only.

★Cancellation Policy: Due to too many cancellations without advance notice (No Show) recently, sadly I decided to introduce a cancellation policy. Should you cancel your lesson, please let me know 12 hours before the booked slot for no charge cancellation. I am reasonable to discuss the case if it's an emergency including illness. Otherwise, 100% of your tuition will be charged.
The sad cases include...
Student A attended only 3 lessons and 5 No Shows in 8 weeks, paid for only 2 lessons and completely disappeared afterwards. No answer to my phone, text, or email.
Student B had too many last minute cancellations just 10min before our lesson while I had paid for non-refundable childcare for my son during the lesson hours. Eventually she hardly made any progress after a year and discontinued as a result of discussion.
★Tuition payment: Bank transfer. Account detail will be provided once we both agreed to start lessons.

A qualified Japanese language tutor offers tailor-made lessons; one-to-one, group, face-to-face, and online.
Studied a fundamental Japanese language teaching programme at University (BA in Language and Culture in 1994), brushed up my knowledge and skills by completing a distance learning course of 420 hours to be qualified.

Teaching Experience:
■ Japanese Tutor (private) / October 2004 - present
3-8 hrs a week with students at wide range of age, purpose, and Japanese skills, at home, at a cafe, and online (Skype, Messenger, WhatsApp).
My ex-tutees include a couple went to Japan for their honeymoon and a family went to Japan as expats.
■ Japanese Tutor at Welbeck Sixth Form College, Loughborough, Leicestershire/ Sept -Dec, 2008 -2010
2 hrs a week for a beginners' class (4-10 students each term)
