Faye - Eastbourne tutor






Information About Faye:


Personal Description:

I'm currently on my third year doing Sport Studies with PE. I am hoping to do my PGCE in teaching PE but not sure on the age groups just yet. But hopefully in doing this I will be able to make a choice quite easily. I currently work as as coach with a wide range of qualifications and experience when working with children.



Teaching Experience:

I have worked with a wide range of age groups. During my university time I am working with children between the ages of 18 months to 7 year olds, as well as with this job, I have done after school clubs. During my summer holidays I have worked with children from year 1 upwards. Before entering university I have been able to volunteer within my college to gain experience teaching/coaching at the secondary school age.



Tutoring Approach:

I would like to hope I can do guide and discovery. At university I learnt that there can be different ways to teach/coach children. I would like to try and shy away from command style teaching as children nowadays may have found their own ways of studying but just need that extra edge to help them excel.
