Personal Description:
I am a flexible, dedicated and hardworking teacher, who takes pride in all that I do. This applies to both my personal and professional life. I enjoy spending quality time with friends and family as well as colleagues and students with whom I work closely. I aim to guide, support and inspire.
Teaching Experience:
I am an experienced, fully qualified teacher and tutor with a Masters degree and 18 years of teaching experience, who has successfully tutored different age groups, ranging from age 7 to adults over the years. I have diverse experience teaching in traditional mainstream school settings as well as one to one and small group settings. I am also a chief examiner and moderator for varying examination boards, and with up to date knowledge, I have offered the best guidance to my tutees, with great success. I have successfully taught all the Sciences and Maths up to GCSE, Biology, Applied Science, Health and Social Care up to A-level. I have also tutored entrance exam courses for those enrolling on College courses or for adults making career changes.
Tutoring Approach:
My students see me as positive, caring, empathetic, enthusiastic and jovial person, who is well organised and has high expectations of her students, who ensures her students' needs are catered for. I am committed to raising my students' achievements beyond their own expectations in a relaxed, safe and creative environment so that they enjoy their learning and succeed. Nothing makes me happier than to see my students build their self confidence and perform well in whatever challenges they are faced with. Tutoring is a passion. I see each student as a person with their own individual abilities and needs and aim to use their passion to teach my passion.
