Andrew - Cookstown tutor

Information About Andrew:

Personal Description:

Hi, my name is Andrew and I am a 19 year old student. I am a university student at Queen's University of Belfast where I am studying for a degree in Pharmacy. I have therefore recently just finished my A-levels and GCSE's and have a firm understanding of the stress and pressures placed upon students of our age group to secure sixth-form and university places.

Teaching Experience:

I have gained experience tutoring within the last year from around my local community at GCSE and A-Level. My subject field of Pharmacy continues to develop and update my knowledge of the subjects.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe the most effective teaching strategy is providing the student with notes beforehand on their chosen subject (notes are detailed and concise) allowing the student to read through the subject area beforehand and then during the sessions I can go through the material addressing any problems or concerns. Exam questions are also covered when the student feels confident enough to tackle these in the preparation of their exams.
