Personal Description:
I am 62 years old and semi-retired from teaching, with over 30 years experience in schools and colleges. I have a long and successful record of private tuition to both children and adults.
Teaching Experience:
I have over 30 years practical teaching experience in the Sciences, predominantly Chemistry, principally in the private sector. I am thoroughly familiar with the requirements of the major examination boards.
I have a very successful track record in preparing students for public examinations, results often exceeding expectations.
Tutoring Approach:
My approach to tutoring is relaxed and tailored to suit the needs of the individual. I aim to gain their confidence at a very early stage and to build on the pupil's strengths and attend to their weaknesses if any. I am able to provide additional material if required, including past exam papers, revision guides and worksheets.
I adapt my style and pace to suit the individual and to attend to their individual needs.
