Personal Description:
I am a friendly, conscientious and reliable tutor. As a well qualified and successful Science(Chemistry) Teacher, I can confidently offer my services to any student who feels that they need some extra support either in preparation for an exam or to help with general improvement and attainment.
Teaching Experience:
I have been a teacher for over twenty years. I have taught chemistry across all key stages and biology and physics at KS3. I have worked in a high performing grammar school and and high performing independent school. Students achieved outstanding grades in both schools.
Tutoring Approach:
I have privately tutored students with a range of abilities in the past. My overall objective is to provide each student with the confidence and knowledge to move forward in the subject. As a teacher, I am aware that we all learn differently and I believe that private tutoring offers students the time and opportunity to draw out their own skills and capablities that they perhaps struggle to demonstrate in a whole class environment.
