Personal Description:
I am a friendly, reliable qualified teacher of ESOL/TEFL. I have over twenty five years of experience teaching in private language schools, summer schools, and colleges. I teach all levels of English. I have a BA honours degree in Social Anthropology, from the University of London. SOAS
I have a CELTA and TKT and an EAP certificate, for teaching English for Academic Purposes. I have a PGCE/PCET in teaching ESOL in the post 16 sectors which I gained from the University of Southampton.
Teaching Experience:
I have over twenty five years ' of experience teaching English as a foreign language. I have taught ESOL at further education colleges. I have taught English as a foreign language as a one to one and small groups. I have also taught at language schools in Winchester, Southampton, Portsmouth, and Bournemouth. I have experience of teaching all age groups. I have good communication and Interpersonal skills.
Tutoring Approach:
I have a friendly approach to tutoring. I am organized and reliable. I am also open to the learner's needs and like to discuss with my learners what they would like to cover so that the lessons are relevant to their needs.
