Personal Description:

I am an experienced teacher, who thoroughly enjoys her chosen vocation, and would like to extend my working practice to include private tutoring. I consider myself to be an excellent communicator with very effective time management skills, and the patience to teach a wide variety of ages, genders and nationalities.

Teaching Experience:

I am an experienced teacher in a range of subjects, including Health & Social Care, Sociology, Citizenship, Access to HE (health professionals). I have taught these subjects at levels 1, 2 and 3 in FE, Sixth Form and Secondary School environs, so have a wide range if knowledge abiut the different nuances of teaching at different levels and to a variety of age groups (between 11yrs - adult).

Tutoring Approach:

I tailor my tutoring sessions to the individual needs of every student, as I feel that a student-centered approach is a primary consideration in order to elicit the best for the student. I have been a personal tutor in each educational establishment I have worked in and consider pastoral care a very important aspect of teaching. I am a strong believer in building the confidence of each student, as I feel that this is an excellent way to maximise potential to achieve.
