Personal Description:
Tristan, experienced Drama School Graduate and actor offers Acting, Voice classes, Auditions coaching and Elocution Lessons in the Banbury/Oxfordshire/Northamptonshire area.
I work primarily as a professional actor, which has given me first hand experience of a variety of different audition processes, and crucially Drama School auditions. Most of my students are preparing for such auditions, or ESB and LAMDA exams.
Teaching Experience:
Tutoring Experience: Teacher of Drama, workshop leader for Northamptonshire County Council since 2007. Saturday morning sessions offered throughout the county: classes, workshops etc with age groups 2 to 5, 5 to 8, 8 to 11, 11 to16. Several years experience in teaching A Level students in FE Establishments Secondary Schools, and private tutoring for students of all ages including adults preparing for auditions.
Tutoring Approach:
I offer a personable one to one teaching experience which I'm told inspires confidence in young people, of whom many have gone on to achieve success in auditions, or pursued acting further. I am approachable and constructive, while sensitive in my feedback, and provide a very practical, engaging service for aspiring actors. My reasonable £20.00 per hour rate includes assistance in choosing and interpreting the right pieces (classical, modern, songs and poems and narrative pieces for LAMDA exams), developing character and voice work. The sessions are absolutely tailored to the individual's needs and we set out clear goals and strategies each week.
