Personal Description:
I am a family lady who enjoys seeing young people fulfil their full potential, both in education and in every day life skills.
I am a very encouraging and enthusiastic person and thoroughly enjoy teaching privately. I am a very friendly and approachable person who has a good sense of humour.
Teaching Experience:
I am a qualified teacher who has taught for over 20 years in senior and primary education. I also teach 1-1 private home tuition in Maths and English and have done this for the past 5 years. I teach privately from KS1 through to GCSE and use a variety of techniques to support pupil learning.
I am CRB checked and also hold a teaching qualification.
Tutoring Approach:
My lessons are encouraging, confidence building and personally tailored to the individual needs of pupils that I teach, whether they need general support , help with preparing for exams or require special learning support due to dyslexia, autism etc.
