Personal Description:
I am a (young!) 50+ year old woman and my degree is in Mathematics.
Teaching Experience:
I have 20 years' teaching experience of mathematics, mainly up to GCSE level but have also taught on a 1:1 basis as a home tutor for several years. I have taught adults and children from the age of 5. My main experience is at secondary level in the UK but I have also worked for a number of years in the USA and Australia. I have also worked for a number of years in the primary sector before qualifying as a teacher.
Tutoring Approach:
I have a friendly approach to students and am happy to work as an individual tutor and also to a small group. I have found home tutoring to be extremely rewarding and enjoy seeing the progress that students make. Once lessons begin, I am more than happy to be contacted by students via email as part of the agreement. I am happy to teach all ages from young children to adults who require maths tuition for work or personal development.
