Personal Description:

Hello, my name is Patricia, I am 30 years old and I am from Paderborn, Germany, where I c lived and work with my partner. In July we moved to the Uk, Blandford Forum.

I am a Middle School teacher for German, English, French and Spanish. My partner is from England and that means that our main communication is mostly in English.

Languages are my passion. I am always interested in learning another language and within a short period I am able to speak it properly.

I am a tutor and translator. All my life I have studied several languages and as I am a teacher at a Middle School in Germany, I have the necessary experience to create and deliver lessons in English, French, Spanish and of course in German.

Teaching Experience:

I have my Masters of Education in Spanish, French, English and German, which I able to speak fluently. I have taught all four languages at a Middle School here in Paderborn, for more than two years now.

I was working for more than 5 years for a local tutor company, where I taught all of the above languages.
For another two years I was involved in an Integration Program of a local school in which I had to teach German to Russian girls. As a student and young teacher I had lots of pupils I helped from at home as a tutor, but I also did language courses for companies.

I also have experience as a foreign language assistant in London, Paris and Barcelona, which contributed a lot to my teaching experience.

The fact that I have an English speaking partner means a permanent language contact in English. The result is, that I am also able to teach you in English on a different level.

I firmly believe that learning a new language should be fun.

Whilst grammar is very important - especially in a grammar rich language like German - it needs to be part of the students ability to express himself.

The focus of my teaching is therefore the ability to speak, understand and generally communicate in German.

Grammar is an important part of this, but rather than focusing on learning the rather comprehensive rule book, I believe that students get better results (both in real life as well as in exams) by learning the grammar through use of the language.

I always strive to adjust lessons to your exact requirements and use interesting and varying teaching material.
