Personal Description:

I was a Research & Development Electronics Engineer for 10 years working in Video Broadcast, Audio Systems, Fibre Optic Data Communications. I then taught Electronics for 15 years at a university in London.

Teaching Experience:

I was a Senior Lecturer in Electronics teaching for the Music Technology Department at a university in London for 15 years. This also included teaching Maths to 1st year undergraduates.

Tutoring Approach:

My philosophy to tutoring is that everyone can be taught through patience, observation and presenting concepts simply.

In my experience as a teacher, self-esteem and confidence is the most important basis for successful learning, combined with actually enjoying the experience. I endeavour to enhance both. I adapt my approach and strategies to meet the needs of each individual.

Please note: In light of the co-vid situation, face to face tuition is only possible if Brighton is at Tier 1 or 2 level..
