Personal Description:
I am a dynamic and approachable teacher with a wealth of experience teaching Science and Biology in some of the best schools in the country. An Oxford graduate, I am very well qualified for private tuition and I have excellent references. I work with many pupils aiming for the highest possible grades and regularly support pupils who have made successful applications for Medicine or Oxbridge to meet their grade requirements.
Teaching Experience:
A fully qualified teacher with a PGCE in Secondary Science Education, I have taught GCSE Biology, Chemistry and Physics, and A Level and IB Higher Level Biology, since 2003 in both state secondary schools and independent boarding and day schools.
Tutoring Approach:
The most effective way to improve a pupil's exam performance is to give them confidence in their own ability. This comes from allowing them to build and demonstrate their knowledge in the tutorial, and practise with exam questions to build technique and familiarity.
