Personal Description:

I am a fully qualified primary school teacher, currently teaching in a high attaining Birmingham primary school. I have experience in teaching private tuition for over 10 years. I am currently a Deputy Head Teacher at a local primary school. I began teaching in 2010 and have seen many children that I both teach and tutor go on to excel in further education. I also deliver training (English and Religious Education) for teachers, schools and trainee teachers within the city.

Teaching Experience:

I began teaching in 2010 and have seen many children that I both teach and tutor go on to excel in further education. I also deliver training (English and Religious Education) for teachers, schools and trainee teachers within the city.

Tutoring Approach:

I teach a knowledge rich curriculum with a focus on understanding, this allows me to engage students effectively. As a teacher I understand various learning techniques for students at all ability ranges. My approach is to first determine the current capabilities and weaknesses (starting point) of the children. This enables me to focus on the areas where the student may have less confidence and ability.
