Personal Description:
Friendly and practical, I can help those who are struggling as well as those who want to push for the top grades. Alongside GCSE and Basic Skills training, I have a Trinity Cert in Teaching English for Speakers of Other Languages and a MA in Creative Writing.
Teaching Experience:
I'm a fully qualified PGCE English tutor with 5 years experience of GCSE and Basic Skills in a college setting. As a college tutor I've worked with teens 14+ and adults. Outside of FE, I've been a private tutor for students 14+, seeing students in their homes.
Tutoring Approach:
I teach all ages from 13+ from basic skills level to GCSE. I am practical, with assessments, in mind but also focus on building learner's confidence in using the language. I can help with 'nuts and bolts' English errors as well as adding creativity!
