Personal Description:

I am a qualified science teacher ( specialized in chemistry and physics) who is currently working in a large secondary school. I have a B.Sc in chemistry with maths and physics, Ph.D in Material science and PGCE (science - King's College) with chemistry. In addition to my teaching practice, I have a very good laboratory practice to assist students for their practical exams. I would consider my self to be a supportive, encouraging and friendly tutor.

Teaching Experience:

I have had 15 years experience in chemistry/physics as an academic in both teaching and research. I have tutored students in the past and have found this to be a rewarding and enjoyable experience. In the past I had worked as a physics teacher in an independent school and raised their achivement level by A-A* 71% and A-B 100%. Currently, I am working in an independent school.

Tutoring Approach:

try to build up children's thinking power in my lessons.
Before each tutoring session I ask students to provide me with the topic area which they prefer to look at so that I can prepare the most appropriate materials. I try to individually tailor each session to meet their requirements to achieve best possible progress and ensure that they grow in confidence before their examinations.
