Personal Description:

I am an MA TESOL graduate from Middlesex University who has a passion for English and teaching. I became interested in English from an early age, therefore I decided to pursue it as my career. My education has been furthered by achieving a grade B CELTA qualification which has supplied me with the essential tools for designing lessons and working with students of various skill levels. Throughout my professional career, I have also acquired valuable skills such as exceptional time management and organisation. My tutoring style is relaxed but firm. I always try to create a positive atmosphere and I have a friendly but professional manner. I am very reliable and punctual. I never cancel or postpone my classes and if I have to, I give at least a few weeks' notice.

Teaching Experience:

I have provided private English tuition to adults and children for several years. Moreover, I have experience teaching English as a Foreign Language to speakers of other languages from all over the world. I am currently working in one of the biggest British Council Accredited language schools in Central London, which is a Highly Trusted Sponsor. I am responsible for planning and preparing lessons, delivering effective lessons, organising excursions. In addition, as an experienced teacher I have observed other professionals and provided them with quality feedback.
My previous professional experience involved delivering ESOL and Literacy courses to learners from a variety of backgrounds such as immigrants, refugees and asylum seekers and on different skill levels (Entry Levels 1, 2 and 3). I was responsible for planning lessons in accordance with Skills for Life Curriculum, assessing learners' skills through initial and diagnostic assessments, providing learners' with Individual Learning Plan and giving tutorials. I am also familiar with City and Guilds exams for both ESOL and Literacy.

Tutoring Approach:

I provide tutoring in a friendly atmosphere and always have a good rapport with my students. I always try to make my lessons interesting and make sure I meet my students' needs and expectations. I prepare my lessons thoroughly and provide good learning materials. I am an experienced tutor with valuable experience and essential skills that make a good tutor such as flexibility, reliability and excellent organisation skills.
