Personal Description:
Hello. My name is Roger. I am a serving teacher who is married with two young children of my own. I m outgoing, patient, adaptable, freindly and enjoy tutoring greatly.
Teaching Experience:
I am a serving teacher in a County Durham school having taught in all sectors of education for the past 22 years. I have delivered all subjects during my career but particularly enjoy teaching Maths and English.I am currently a Key Stage leader in a large school in Durham City.
Tutoring Approach:
I have enjoyed tutoring during evenings, weekends and holidays for the past 3 years. I work slowly and steadily with each student ensuring success and building up confidence. I possess resources in many formats, using programs and apps on laptop and i phone as central part of teaching. This ensures variety, enjoyment and progress for students with differing strengths and needs. I tend to prefer tutoring in the tutees home as I have two small children at home myself.
