Personal Description:
Hello! I'm a French teacher living in Hitchin and am very interested in meeting you if you need help with your French or would simply like to improve your existing knowledge of the subject. Private tuition is my favourite area of teaching and I would love to hear from you soon!
Teaching Experience:
I am a qualified teacher of French and have been teaching French for 18 years to people of all ages and abilities. I taught at primary, secondary and third level. I have been working for the Department of Education as Assistant Examiner of French for a number of years and also as Oral French Examiner. Moreover, I spent time in France teaching English as a foreign language. I have always given private French lessons to students but also to people who just want to improve or practise their French.
Tutoring Approach:
Private tuition has always appealed to me. Firstly, so much learning can take place due to the one-to-one dynamic and this therefore is very satisfying for both teacher and pupil. Secondly, it is a wonderful means of building a rapport between teacher and pupil. In fact, I have built up a number of friendships over the years with some former tutees!
