Personal Description:

Hello, my name is Margarita and I am from Spain. I was born in 1977, married to Dave and have a boy called Rio and a little girl called Samara. I have been living in England for the last 12 years and we are now settled in Rustington.
I work for various schools and nurseries and I also teach small groups and one to one, which is something that I really enjoy. Teaching my own language is one of my greatest passions and I feel extremely rewarded when I see my students' achievements.
I believe that if you really want to learn a language, you will, my job is to show you the path and to let you enjoy the way.

Teaching Experience:

I am a qualified and experienced teacher of Spanish. I have been doing so for the last 10 years to all ages, from primary school level up to exam preparation for GCSE and A level. I thoroughly enjoy teaching all ages and abilities - conversational Spanish, GCSE classes, adult evening classes, business language classes and exam preparation.
Although I have taught groups in the past, most of my current students prefer one to one or two to one lessons as they feel that all their requirements and needs are met accordingly. I have always encouraged both small groups and individual lessons as both have great advantages.

Tutoring Approach:

My teaching technique is based on the communicative method, which helps the student develop language skills rapidly without having to refer to their native language too much. At the same time, the lessons are always enjoyable and satisfying. My aim is to make my students feel comfortable and confident with the language.

From my past experience, I have found that every student has a different way of learning, and whether it's one to one tutoring or learning in small groups, I tailor each class to the students' needs.

• BA Degree in Business Studies, Brighton University
