Personal Description:

I am a chartered civil engineer with 30 years experience of managing projects and people. While overseas, I spent a considerable time working with adults whose educational background was severely lacking and it was my responsibility to bring these people up a to a standard where they could read and understand a short contract, complete a short bill of quantities and then perform the contract on site (and make a profit).



Teaching Experience:

I have worked for 5 years tutoring adults of all ages in mathematics and simple engineering concepts.



Tutoring Approach:

I have an easy going style which helps students to feel comfortable and at ease. That said, I am also methodical so that the student can monitor how he or she is progressing and able to feel prepared and ready for their examinations.
