Information About Tammy:


Personal Description:

As a native Chinese, I am not only a Chinese language expert, but I also have a broad understanding of Chinese culture and philosophy. I currently reside in Paignton, Devon; and I offer Mandarin & Cantonese language tutoring to individuals who are working hand in hand with asian companies or looking to work in Asia.



Teaching Experience:

I have tutored in Singapore for over 5 years; teaching Primary to Secondary students Mathematics, English and Mandarin.



Tutoring Approach:

I believe that learning is most enjoyable when the student is given proper guidance and I always do my best to engage the student with subject-related experiences and stories to make lessons more interesting. I often anticipate and address student's queries even before they ask. Most of my students have remained as friends as they see me something like a mentor outside tutoring.
