Personal Description:
I am a trained chemist with a first-class honours degree in Applied Chemistry. I also have a PhD in Process/Chemical Engineering from the University of Leeds. Currently, I tutor Chemistry and Mathematics up to University level.
Teaching Experience:
I have over 10 years experience as a chemistry teacher/tutor from GCSE to University levels. I have been in active chemistry, physics and mathematics tuition for the past five years in the Leeds area, with majority of my students having tops 'A's in exams.
Tutoring Approach:
My teaching style can be adapted to meet the needs of different levels/grades of students. I am a patient, thorough and affable tutor. I ensure that students concretize their learning experiences by the use of examples and analogies from everyday scenarios. Moreover, I adopt a systematic approach with a deep belief that students learn better when learning is planned to draw from previous experiences or levels.
