Personal Description:
I'm currently working as a teacher of Science at a secondary school in the Birmingham area, the school is considered outstanding by Ofsted. I have been Head of Chemistry for the last twelve years and teach mostly A-level Chemistry. I have been a tutor for the past 14 years and have tutored many students helping them to achieve their targets in Science.
Teaching Experience:
I have been teaching for over 14 years and have been a private tutor for most of that time. I have taught both OCR and AQA examination boards as well as tutoring Edexcell. I'm up to date with the new specification changes that have come in for September 2015. Since starting teaching I have increased the number of A-level students at my school considerably as well as increasing the results of the department year on year.
Tutoring Approach:
I'm an easy to get on with tutor who can adapt the teaching and learning environment to accommodate a range of abilities for all students. I bring along all the necessary resources including books and all past papers.
I charge £25 per hour to tutor from my home or £30 to travel to you.
