Personal Description:
I am a 56 yr old father of 3, an IT Project Manager and an experienced tutor who has been tutoring on/off for over 17 years, very good at working with children and able to explain concepts in a simple, learnable way, I am very patient but firm with my attitude towards learning. I work with small groups of children mainly between 1 to 6 in each age group.
Teaching Experience:
Tutoring over the last 17-19 years, mainly Maths, English, reading skills and preparing for 11+ exams with children from ages 4 and upwards. Key Stage 1-3.
Tutoring Approach:
I believe that every child learns in their own individual way and therefore they need a personal and tailored tutoring experience, I am very capable of adapting to their individual needs. I believe that learning should be fun if the child is to engage with the learning process. My aim is to allow your child to achieve their fullest potential, which every child is capable of with the right teacher.
