Personal Description:
I am a 21 year old student, currently studying Classics at the University of Oxford, who tutors part-time in the holidays. This summer I am available until the 1st of October. I am a dedicated and committed tutor, who possesses a thorough understanding of a broad range of disciplines, as well as a keen enthusiasm for teaching. I achieved a first class degree in my Moderation exams at Oxford, and previously attended Nonsuch High School for Girls, where I graduated with 5 A-grade A-levels (English Literature, Mathematics, Physics, Critical Thinking and Ancient Greek), an A-grade in AS Further Maths, and 13 A* grade GCSEs (English language, English Literature, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, ICT, RS, Ancient Greek, Chinese, French, History, Art).
Teaching Experience:
I began tutoring last summer, and now have taught over 15 different students. I've taught for all levels, from Key Stage 2 to Sixth Form College entrance exams, and will be happy to supply references from current/previous tutees.
Tutoring Approach:
I am an extremely dedicated and patient tutor, who is willing to work to adapt to the tutee's individual needs. I'm confident that I have a deep and up-to-date understanding of the subjects I offer. Most importantly, however, I have a genuine passion for knowledge, something which I hope to inspire in others.
