Amanda is a Freelance Professional Actor, Director and Agent. Amanda manages Stage and Film School and AFA Management. Amanda studied Media & Performance at Salford University and has a varied portfolio of experience teaching in primary education and private drama schools.

Amanda also has numerous theatre and radio plays to her credits and has also been involved in Corporate work with Greater Manchester Police Training and Employment Services. Amanda holds a Full Enhanced CRB Disclosure and is covered for Public Liability through British Actors Equity.

Teaching Experience:

I have been teaching drama students from the of age 6 - 60 since 1999. With some of them moving on to be successful actors themselves. However, I do understand that not all students want to be actors and approach each individuals needs accordingly.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe that drama isn't just about 'acting' but also provides an outlet for self expression, it develops imagination and artistic awareness; it increases social and mental freedom, fluency of speech, self respect, self confidence and above all... it's FUN!

Drama gives students the opportunity to learn how to co-operate with others, aids orderly thinking and the ability to organise. The benefits do not only accrue through students participating actively in dramatic activity, they also learn through observing others.

I will provide what we hope you will see as the perfect balance of education, play, and stimulation. I run to a carefully planned curriculum paying equal attention to ALL my student's needs in our group sessions. I am also committed to a two way communication process with parents to ensure that we have total understanding and support.
