Information About Klarke:


Personal Description:

I am a sociable and understanding person with an up-to-date specialist knowledge of human genetics and a wide range of knowledge within the life sciences. I have recently completed a MSc in Medical Genetics with Distinction at the University of Glasgow and a BSc (Hons) in Applied Biology from Northumbria University. Currently I am undertaking a PhD at the University of Birmingham, focusing on regenerative medicine.



Teaching Experience:

Much of my knowledge of teaching techniques comes from being a Scout Leader but I have sucessfully been tutoring BSc and MSc students on Molecular Genetics, Clinical Genetics, Biochemical Genetics and Cytogenetics.



Tutoring Approach:

I am capable of preparing teaching materials to better suit the needs of individual students. My main focus will be teaching and revising basic scientific concepts. I also aim to help students improve the academic format of their assignments and give guidance on good academic practice.
