Personal Description:
I am an economics graduate from the University of Bath with a keen interest in education. I studied a heavily Maths based subject and I have 5 As at A level including Further Mathematics, Computing, Mathematics, History and Economics. I have previously worked for DEFRA on the common agricultural policy and have several experience teaching and tutoring.
Teaching Experience:
I have over a years one to one tutoring experience in mathematics and economics. I have also worked as a teaching assistant at a Japanese English summer school in Bath and travelled to China to teach English at Jiangsu University.
Tutoring Approach:
My approach to tutoring is very pupil based. It will generally revolve heavily around the syllabus of the subject the pupil is studying. Dependent on the pupil the topics covered may revolve around those studied at school or on entirely separate topics. My tutoring style is based very question based rather than theory based, as I believe theory is easier to understand if it is applied to a question.
