Information About Simon:


Personal Description:

Am in final year at school. Received 11 A* - A GCSEs including Maths, Biology and Geography, which I have taken on to complete as A levels. Have been in the English schooling system all my life and am about to finish my a levels at Tiffin School in Kingston Upon Thames.



Teaching Experience:

I have mentored 11-14 year olds in school for maths. And am in last year at school (U6) so no the ways of the teacher.



Tutoring Approach:

I use the constant revision approach. The idea of going over a concept enough times until remembered, but making sure that the learning is not boring.

I also provide notes in each subject (my own as well as external sources), using the specification as a contents. I use power points to explain many of the ideas, which the tutee can take and use for their own revision notes.

I also provide past papers to accompany all lessons providing practice on how to get the marks, using the mark schemes.
