Personal Description:
I am a qualified teacher of secondary French and German. I enjoy using my languages in all sorts of environments, and I have high levels in both German and French, with near native levels in German, having worked in a German company whilst living in Germany.
Teaching Experience:
I completed my PGCE at the University of Birmingham in 2010 and currently hold a teaching postition in Harrow. I have a lot of experience working with children, as I have worked for several years on a children's activity camp for 5-13 year olds, as well as teaching English to 10-16 year olds on a residential camp in Austria. I have done some private tutoring in German with a primary age child, at A level and adult learner level, and in English with a supervisor within the company in Germany. I was a volunteer tutor at a school in Leeds for German to GCSE.
Tutoring Approach:
I am a flexible tutor with different experience in a variety of fields, which has allowed me to appreciate the need to tailor the tutoring to the individual. I am open to feedback and I am happy to take on board the requests of the tutee within my capacity as a tutor.
