Personal Description:

I have been working internationally as a professional SINGER for the past 14 years.Working with a band, our gigs have included' Five star 'hotel chains such as Intercontinental and Sheraton, cruise ships and residencies such as 'The Hard Rock Cafe', Dubai.At present, now settled into life in England full time again ,I am enjoying smaller ,more intimate hotel gigs and clubland as a self contained cabaret act and Dusty Springfield Tribute.I trained at The 'Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art 'in London with a dance and musical theatre background with the intention of following a serious acting career. However,luck and life choices changed my direction and took me around the world as a singer.

Teaching Experience:

I have tutored privately on and off for years in between gigs abroad.Changing career for a while I taught 'SINGING AND PERFORMANCE' at Btec Level at Preston College.I now tutor students privately from home weekdays and Saturday afternoon,also at a local private Music School.Previously, I would only tutor teens to adult with serious intention of auditions and further performance,but since teaching locally at a private school as well, I am now happy to tutor students 9yrs and upwards in age who are just finding their voices and willing to work at it.

Tutoring Approach:

I enjoy individual VOCAL COACHING in order to get the best out of each student.My main aim is obviously to improve the voice through good technique and discipline, but my strength is in developing confidence with the enjoyment of singing.I work on audition technique and singing in a variety of styles to give my students as varied a repertoire as possible, specialising in pop music.But in the end it is down to them to choose their own direction depending on their talent and personal taste in music.
My approach is up to date,using backing tracks and microphone technique with the aim of recording a vocal demo for personal enjoyment or self promotion purposes.
