Personal Description:

Conscientious and creative tutor specialising in a person centred approach to tutoring. Well planned and developed hourly sessions designed to stimulate and encourage positive thinking and practical academic skills. I teach straight through from Primary to Adult and obtain good results. Classes take place in my home or in the student's home by arrangement.

Subject areas covered are;English Literature, Psychology, Religious Studies, History and Drama. Homework options exist as do support with exam preparation and revision techniques. Email support is also offered in between sessions to help students who require additional guidance.



Teaching Experience:

Previous and current teaching includes; Lecturing in Early Years & Healthcare and contributing on Nursery Nursing and Teacher Training modules at HE and FE levels. I have taught in Primary School and at the University of Hankuk in South Korea as well as for Training and Educational Consortiums. I have achieved good results with a variety of students from diverse cultural and social backgrounds.



Tutoring Approach:

I enjoy encouraging students to achieve through positive praise and pro-active mentoring. Regular extended subject tasks are set and regularly collected and checked. Special discounted rates are offered on all double sessions booked.
