Information About Rachel:
Personal Description:
I am an experienced teacher who is currently working in Alternative Provision and Special Needs with an emphasis on gifted children and Asperger's Syndrome. I am also studying a Post Grad Certificate in Asperger's Syndrome with Sheffield Hallum University.
Teaching Experience:
I am a qualified Primary School Teacher and have taught in both the state and private sectors for 18 years across Key Stages 1, 2 and 3. I am also a Marker for KS2 English SATs. I have tutored one to one for 8 years, including SATs preparation, Entrance exams and special needs.
Tutoring Approach:
I am patient and friendly in my approach. I am flexible and willing to adapt to different learning styles. I have had a great success rate with previous pupils attaining level 5s in SATS and successfully gaining entry to some of the top schools in the North East. I am willing to travel to pupils homes but am happy to teach in my own home too.
