Personal Description:

I'm a keen sports fan and to keep fit I play football, squash, cycle and run. I love to travel when I get the chance and am lucky enough to have visited over twenty countries.

Teaching Experience:

I've been teaching sine 1998 both overseas and more recently, back home in the UK. Since returning home, I have mainly been teaching EAP, helping overseas students achieve the level of English they need to enter their desired university course.

Tutoring Approach:

I think that finding out the student's motivation to learn English is very important and then trying to plan lessons and courses to suit their interests and needs. I'm available to teach students in their homes, or in public places such a the library or a coffee shop.

• CELTA
• PGCE with subject Specialism in TESOL
• DELTA Module 2
