Personal Description:
A bilingual professional with extensive knowledge of Legal English and wide experience in tutoring and instructing in many settings. I am a committed, people-focused individual capable of building positive relationships with adults and young people from diverse social and cultural backgrounds. My resume cannot convey the full level of eagerness to share my expertise and passion for learning. You will find that I am a reliable and devoted teacher with a great deal of excitement and enthusiasm in all my endeavours.
Teaching Experience:
I have designed lessons for diverse groups of learners. I do so by exploiting original and authentic texts and creating controlled and freer activities which target receptive (reading and listening) and productive (writing and speaking) skills. I have also been successful in teaching language analysis (grammar, lexis, usage) through guided discovery. It has proven to be a very practical and effective way of how to combine the necessity of learning English language and its practicality.
Moreover, I have 10 years' experience in:
- teaching Legal English to law students, lawyers and business professionals to help them familiarise themselves with the complexity and intricacies of legalese.
- rendering translations from legal English/Polish into plain English/Polish.
