Personal Description:
I am a 22-year-old French native speaker. I temporarily live in Manchester and I am very interested in giving private lessons, as I will soon start a career as an English teacher in France. I already have a small teaching experience, which I am willing to enrich!
Teaching Experience:
I am now working in Moston as a French assistant with pupils from year 7 to year 11. Two years ago I did the same in Rochdale, with children from nursery to year 6.
I am a newly qualified English teacher in France (I passed the 'Agregation', the French competitive exam to become an English teacher), so I can also teach English as a foreign language.
I also gave some private English lessons 3 years ago (for a student of A Level)
Tutoring Approach:
I think that working one-to-one or in small groups is very helpful. I am willing to spend time working on the student's pronunciation by doing a lot of conversation, but depending on his/her needs I can also propose more developped grammar courses, which will lead us to do more written work.
