Information About Andrew:
Personal Description:
I have a strong scientific background with a high level of mathematical skills. After graduating I worked for three years at the National Physical Laboratory as a Research Scientist. Here my work was involved in the measurement of ionising radiation with the intention of passing on that knowledge to Hospitals treating Cancer patients.
Currently I am working at a hospital in Middlesex as a Medical Physicist where I help to maintain the equipment used in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer.
Teaching Experience:
I have taught students previously in the north London area and seen those students go on to pass exams at grades higher than predicted by teachers. I am currently teaching several students of varying abilities.
Tutoring Approach:
The reason many people find maths difficult is because they are taught in an uninteresting way that does not relate to real world situations.
It is my aim to help anyone sitting Maths GCSE exam to achieve their full potential by helping them to understand the subject they are studying in order for them to achieve the grades they desire.
Mathematics tuition is best taught by practice examples, maths is a subject filled with facts and formulae that once mastered are never forgotten. Relating maths to real world situations can make it significantly easier to understand.

- A Level Physics 'B'
