Information About Neil:
Personal Description:
I am a second year language student at the University of Bristol, looking to tutor in French and Russian. I can provide a wide range of different services, from intensive grammar revision to simple conversation. I am also able to provide tuition in the study of English (and foreign) Literature and History up to A-Level, and having recently sat these exams I am aware of what exam boards expect.
Teaching Experience:
I have experience offering Russian taster workshops in primary schools, and teach French at afterschool clubs in the Bristol area.
Tutoring Approach:
I am happy to adapt my tutoring style depending on age and need. With languages especially it is important to ascertain why you want to learn; are you studying for a particular exam or is fluency your goal? Do you find it easier to focus on grammar, letting the rest fall into place around it, or would you prefer practical tuition based on real life situations and media? All this can be discussed and set out at the beginning of our arrangement.
