Personal Description:
I am a Pharmacy graduate and am currently in the process of completing my pre-registration year at a well-known hospital in Birmingham.
I have a strong academic background in the Sciences and this in turn inspired me to pursue a career in this field. I also possess strong English Language and Literature Skills which led to me obtaining the highest mark in my GCSE English Language Examination in the year. Whilst at school I was an active member of the Gifted & Talented Cohort. My GCSE and A level grades were excellent across all subject areas as I am a seriously dedicated and motivated individual who is driven by achieving high results. I also obtained the highest mark in the year for my Psychology A level Examination.
Teaching Experience:
I have mentored secondary school children between the ages of 11-16.
I have tutored younger siblings and neighbours (aged 6-18) in key subjects such as Maths, English and Science.
Tutoring Approach:
- Promoting the student to understand the underlying key concepts rather than focusing on getting them to remember everything.
- Breaking down information so that it can digested and understood in greater depth.
- Adaptive teaching style ensuring the specific learning styles and needs of the student are addressed.
