Information About Gillian:
Personal Description:
I am 36 years old and I have 2 young children. I have been teaching for 6 years, currently teaching at St Edward's College. I previously worked in the Banking industry for 7 years.
Teaching Experience:
I currently teach a range of abilities for KS3, across years 7 to 9.
I am currently teaching linear GCSE (higher/edexcel), and have also had experience of teaching foundation modular GCSE. Last year I gained over 90% A/A* Grades at GCSE
I also teach year 12 & 13 which include modules C1, C2, C3, C4, S1, D1 & M1
Tutoring Approach:
I adapt my teaching skills and methods according to the pupils that I am teaching. I use interactive methods through ICT to enhance learning. I try to make learning as enjoyable as possible.
I teach pupils not only subject knowledge, but also exam techniques for them to get the best mark possible.
