Personal Description:

I am 23 years old and come from France. I've stayed and worked quite a lot in the UK and have decided to become a tutor. As I'm a french native speaker and qualified in English and have experince in both, I can teach both languages!

Teaching Experience:

I've taught English to adults in France for 2 years. I've been a French assistant in a school in Glasgow for 2 years. During those 2 years, I've worked both in primaries and secondaries so I've got a wide range of experience. I can tailor lessons for all levels and all needs. Thanks to my experience, I've been able to do lots of observation and try lots of methods and activities concerning the teaching of foreign languages. I've just passed the competitive exam to be an English teacher in France so I've got theoretical knowledge about teaching languages too.

Tutoring Approach:

Tutoring can be a great experience as it is a one to one relationship. The tutor needs to listen to his tutee and try sometimes unusual methods to get him to understand something. The tutor needs to give his tutee attention and tailor the lessons to his needs, to his pace. Moreover, on top of that, the tutor should help and try to give confidence to his tutee : eg he should give him general tips that will be useful not only for his immediate needs but for all his education and for every subject.

• Masters in English
• I also passed the competitive exam to be a teacher in France.
